Normally when I travel I don't plan much at all, I just sort of wing it. If we book a hotel before hand we consider that "big plans", lol. But we're planning a trip to Japan, and THAT we're planning out! I don't like the idea of leaving it to tour guides and stuff. I think it's much more interesting doing the research ahead of time. Of course, there will still be some days that we'll just be "winging it".
